INGREDIENTS
4-6 Thin-cut steaks (such as flank, skirt, minute steaks, or thin ribeyes/strips under 1 inch thick)
1 tsp Onion powder
Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
Preheat your smoker to 225°F using Mesquite or Pecan wood.
Pat the steaks completely dry with paper towels.
Mix the salt, pepper, and onion powder together, then season the steaks lightly on both sides.
Place the steaks directly onto the smoker grates.
Smoke for approximately 20 to 30 minutes total, monitoring closely with a quick-read thermometer, until the internal termperature reaches 135°F.
Remove the steaks from the heat and let them rest for 5 minutes before slicing thinly against the grain.
